How important is your heart?
Your heart is one of the body's most essential organs.
Oxygen and blood. Firstly The left side of your heart sends the oxygen blood out to the body.Your body takes the oxygen out of the blood and uses it in your body’s cells. Your heart pumps blood to every part of your body. Your heart is a pump which powers your body. It supplies blood carrying oxygen and nutrients to every cell, nerve, muscle and vital organs in your body. Without your heart the blood wouldn’t circulate as it should and a person could die. Your heart is also really important because it pumps blood up to the brain. If your brain does not have enough blood then your brain cells might start to die.
Waste products, Secondly the circulatory system is made up of blood vessels that carry your blood away and towards the heart. Arteries carry blood away from the heart and veins carry blood back to the heart. The circulatory system carries oxygen , nutrients and hormones to the cells and it removes waste products.
